A Few FAQs

Can I print on campus?
Yes, you may print at the Print Shops. Print costs are 5 cents per page for black and white and 40 cents per page for color print. Credit cards are accepted. (Prices are subject to change.)

Why won't my MavCard work?
Your MavCard does have an expiration date. If your card isn't working, it might be expired. Simply reach out to the MavCard office to get that updated. E-mail mavcard-office@mnsu.edu or call 507-389-1707.

Why can't I log in to resources online?
Your StarID password must be reset every six months. The system should trigger you to reset it. Don't ignore that reset message. Instructions for resetting your password can be found here. If you need further help, please submit a Quick Ticket to IT Support.

What library resources do I have access to?
Emeriti have access to all our physical items in circulation, from cameras to books to DVDs. Additionally, you have access to nearly every electronic resource current faculty have access to. However, there are some exceptions due to differences in licenses. "Authorized users" for different licenses are always changing, and occasionaly emeriti do not qualify for access to certain electronic resources. For specific library help, please reach out to the Library Team.
